Composition Academy 2025

Each year, the ONJ and Real Time Music accompany eight French and foreign composers in the writing of an original piece, during a workshop based individual lessons, collective exchanges, and masterclass with international artists. The course culminates in a public performance of each piece by the ONJ Youth Orchestra. Since 2022, the Academy has been building a framework for sharing knowledge and know-how in the fields of jazz writing, improvised music and contemporary music. 
The fourth edition of the academy took place from February 20 to March 1 at the Pavillon de la Sirène in Paris, partner of the event.
